Dave’s drink of the month: Raspberry caprioska

Our awesome front of house manager, David Mash, keeps outdoing himself with his summery cocktail goodness!

Dave loves his job and has become a favourite among locals and regulars to 360Q. He’s had quite a bit of exposure with his first Drink of the Month – the recipe for his signature espresso martinis literally went viral – and last month’s Spiced rum and ginger mojito was a huge hit over the bar.

Dave knows his stuff, whether it’s a wine recommendation, getting busy behind the coffee machine to make a mean macchiato or turning his hand toward the selective yet incredibly popular art of cocktail making. Basically, if you have a thirst, Dave is your go-to guy.

Each month he is sharing his favourite drink as a hot tip for the next time you visit us. For December, he’s thinking a fresh and fruity cocktail. “This drink is perfect on a beautiful summer’s day – it’s zesty, zingy and delicious,” he says. Delicious!

Raspberry caprioska

Ingredients
5 lime wedges
2 spoonfuls fresh/frozen raspberries
Squeeze of sugar syrup
60ml Absolut raspberry vodka
Mint leaves for garnish

Method

Add 4 lime wedges, raspberries and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Muddle until both raspberries and limes are crushed.
Add vodka and shake.
Pour into mason jar and add ice to the top.
Finish with soda water and garnish with lime wedge and a mint leaf.
